New Delhi: Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal on Wednesday stormed out of a press conference after he was questioned about his future at the club.

Gaal, who is undergoing a beleaguered phase as the Red Devils have lost their last six fixtures in all competitions, said that he had the backing of the club's think tank.

Here is the full video posted by Manchester United's official account on Twitter:

Earlier, The Daily Mirror reported that Sir Alex Ferguson held crisis talks with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the club's former chief executive David Gill, as the Glazer family have left the decision regarding Gaal's future in Woodward's hands.

Even though Ferguson is said to be close to the 64-year-old Dutchman, one of the major factors behind the talks is their keen interest to sign a deal with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who could be heading back to Real Madrid in the summer, in case of any delay.

The report added that van Gaal has told the club he will respect their decision whichever way they decide to go.

Manchester United face Stoke City next in the Premier League on Boxing Day, before taking on Mourinho's old team Chelsea at Old Trafford next Monday.
