New Delhi: Ninth edition of the Indian Premier League has crossed its half-way stage already.
While the buzz surrounding the league has witnessed a drop, IPL remains the biggest T20 tournament in the world.
India's cricket lovers may have not showcased the enthusiasm for the league as they did in previous years, but IPL seems to have found a new fan in Premier League superstar Harry Kane.
Interestingly, the Tottenham Hotspur forward is closely following the fortunes of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
With Spurs not in action on the weekend, Kane made the best use of his time by rooting for RCB.
Can the @RCBTweets chase this total down?! I hope they can! Its going to be a good watch! #IPL

Considering no England players have represented RCB this term, his admiration for Virat Kohli appears to be the main reason behind his interest in the team.
Earlier in the year, Kane generously praised the Indian batsman for his stellar performance against Australia in the ICC World T20.
Virat Kohli is some player! In the high pressure situations shows what type of player you are and he does it time and time again! #IndvsAus

Thank You so much @HKane. Loved your goal against Germany. Good Luck with your PL chase! https://t.co/ZbeYRIXkwj

Unfortunately for Kane, there was disappointment in store for him on Saturday as RCB slumped to a defeat against SRH.
