New Delhi: England manager Roy Hodgson on Monday named the country's 26-man provisional squad for Euro 2016.

Manchester United's 18-year-old striker Marcus Rashford found place in the list along with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and Newcastle United's Andros Townsend.

Among the notable names that did not make the cut were Gunners' star Theo Walcott and Everton's defender Phil Jagielka.

Rashford played his first senior match for the Old Trafford outfit only in the second half of the season.

The 18-year-old netted seven goals from 16 games after having made his debut on February 25.
