Why Mark Boucher wants Sachin Tendulkar, Lewis Hamilton's help!

New Delhi: Former South African wicketkeeper-batsman Mark Boucher on Saturday requested help from two global sporting icons - Sachin Tendulkar and Lewis Hamilton – for a cause that is dear to his heart.

Tendulkar and his family were on a holiday -- visiting a wildlife sanctuary in eastern Maharashtra's Vidarbha region.

Excited about his trip, Tendulkar posted a photo of his striped T-shirt, jeans and a hat on his Twitter account and was immediately flooded with thumbs-ups from his fans across the globe.

This prompted the South African to reach out to the master blaster on the social micro-blogging site.

Tendulkar was quick to respond to Boucher who is actively involved in fighting wildlife poachers in his home country.

While there was no response from the Briton, one wonders what the Formula One world champion thought about Boucher's call for help.

Boucher, widely regarded as one of keepers of his generation, suffered a serious eye injury in a freak accident on the field in England in July in 2012, effectively forcing his early retirement from the game.
