Akhtar, who still owns the record for the fastest delivery in the history of the game, often left batsmen dancing in the crease as a result of his lethal bouncers.
In one of such incidents, one of Akhtar's quick bouncers hit Sourav Ganguly in the rib-cage. The Indian left-hander looked in terrible pain and was taken off the field.
