New Delhi: Destructive West Indies batsman Chris Gayle equaled Yuvraj Singh's Twenty20 record on Monday by hitting a 12-ball 50 for Melbourne Renegades in a Big Bash League (BBL) match against Adelaide Strikers.
Gayle hit seven sixes and two fours during his whirlwind knock of 56 off 17 balls, with a outstanding strike-rate of 329.41.
However, chasing 171, Gayle's side was bundled out for 143 in 15.3 overs.
