New Delhi: Saurashtra's Ranji Trophy team on Monday displayed an amusing way to grab wickets during their semi-final clash against Assam at Vadodara.
In their newly found technique, fielders use the medium of clapping to take a wicket or to distract a batsman.
It might sound different to many, but the trick did work for the Saurashtra team, and even amused the commentators and the spectators.
Saurashtra fielders, including India's Test regular Cheteshwar Pujara, used the 'clapping' trick during Assam’s second innings and batsman Gokul Sharma seemed to have trapped in it.
