New Delhi: Legends Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday had a lovely exchange on social micro-blogging site Twitter that grabbed the attention of their followers.

The Bollywood superstar posted a picture of a street wall in Ahmedabad, featuring Sachin, Lata Mangeshkar and himself.

"That guy in the middle should not be there, among the 2 greats," read the veteran actor's caption accompanying the picture.

In response, Tendulkar wrote back, "there is only one guy who is now referred as 'former'," referring to his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2013.

The master blaster also stated that Mangeshkar and Bachchan were timeless and inspirational.

On Friday, the legendary singer commented on that thread as well, terming Tendulkar and Bachchan as 'Vishwa Ratna'.

This trio, after having reached the very top of their respective professions, continue to remain humble and modest.

Not only have their achievements been staggering, their conduct in the public domain has been nothing short of impeccable.

Tendulkar and Mangeshkar have been recipients of the Bharat Ratna -  highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
