The Ashes: Harris says Gabba win special for Oz

Sydney: Veteran Australian paceman Ryan Harris has said that the feeling he and his teammates got when Mitchell Johnson took the last wicket, that officially sealed their win at the Gabba Test, was a special moment for all of them, for which they had been waiting for a long time.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Harris personally feels that it is big bonus for him to have bowled only 34 overs in this Test, adding that even though he still feels a little bit stiff, it was nice to be able to put their feet up at the end of the second day after bowling England cheaply.

Harris further said that the feeling when Johnson got England`s last wicket, when they came off the field and sang the song, was what they play cricket for, adding that it had been too long for them and the song was extra special as George Bailey was playing his first Test.

Harris hoped that at the end of the series, they would be singing the team song three or four more times, adding that the aggression that was evident in the first Test was all a part of their plan to put England under pressure from ball one.
