New Delhi: In-form off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was on Thursday named as the No. 1 Test bowler for 2015 in the ICC rankings.
Ashwin has been pivotal to India's success in the longer format this year, picking up 62 wickets in 9 Tests.
Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the Chennai lad seems to have hit another new gear that has made him the finest spinner in the world at the moment.
Ashwin produced many memorable performances, especially in the recently concluded series at home against South Africa where he finished with a tally of 31 wickets in four Tests.
