New Delhi: Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar retired from all forms of international cricket on November 16 2013 after playing his final Test against the West Indies.
Playing his final match in front of home crowd at Wankhede stadium, the batting maestro entertained the spectators with a classy 74-run knock, before being dismissed by Windies spinner Narsingh Deonarine.
India went on to win the match by an innings and 126 runs with two days remaining, thereby giving a winning farewell to their retiring hero.
Tendulkar had retired from ODIs in December 2012.
Cricket fans across the world got another chance to watch him play, when he along with Shane Warne, came up with the idea of a Cricket All-Stars tournament, where retired legends from different countries got back on the cricket field for three matches.
Warne's Warriors defeated Sachin's Blasters 3-0 in the T20 series played at three baseball stadiums in the United States.
