New Delhi: Indian opener Rohit Sharma, who is currently leading Mumbai Indians in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), has recently purchased a villa in Khandala, according to a media report.
As per the report published in Mid-Day, the cricketer bought the bungalow some time ago, in a residential project titled ‘Discovery’ in Khandala, owned by actor Suniel Shetty’s company.
A realtor claims the deal has been signed for Rs 5 crore and the total area of the bungalow is close to 7,500 square feet.
However, the publication informed that there is no official confirmation on the report from Rohit Sharma or his family members.
Rohit is busy playing in the IPL as title holders Mumbai are fighting at the moment to seal a spot in the playoffs.
They are currently placed third in the points table with seven wins in 13 games.
Their last league game is against Gujarat Lions on May 21.
