New Delhi: Generally, the night before a big match, most players got to bed early. But, ahead of the summit clash of the Indian Premier League's ninth edition, which is scheduled to take place today between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), some of the players stayed up late night to watch the Champions League final.
Two Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were up against each other, which propelled cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle and many others to wake up till late night.
The match was decided on penalty shoot-outs after extra-time ended with 1-1 at San Siro in Milan. Real Madrid won the match 5-3, with Cristiano Ronaldo converting the final kick from the spot.
After the game, Yuvraj took to Twitter to congratulate Ronaldo.
Gayle also posted a couple of tweets expressing his emotions, while tagging Ronaldo.
