Is this why Royal Challengers Bangalore's Chris Gayle named his first daughter 'Blush'?

New Delhi: West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle and partner Natasha Berridge were on Thursday blessed with a baby girl.

Interestingly, the duo decided to name her 'Blush'.

As soon as fans and followers of the batsman read this, their minds were cast back to the sexism scandal that occurred at the Big Bash League involving Gayle and former Channel 10 presenter Mel McLaughlin.

"Hopefully we can win this game and we can have a drink after," Gayle told her, before quickly adding "don't blush, baby".

"I'm not blushing," she shot back after regaining her composure.

The Jamaican was fined $10,000 by his club Melbourne Renegades. Gayle went on to issue an apology to Mel, terming his comment as a 'joke'.

Since then, Gayle has used this controversy to have fun on social micro-blogging site Twitter as well as at the Pakistan Super League where he recreated his controversial interview with Tom Moody.

However, by naming his daughter after the 'Don't Blush, Baby' controversy, the Universe-Boss has taken things to another level.
