IPL 9: When Dale Steyn played ‘Gully’ cricket on Mumbai streets after warming bench for Gujarat Lions

New Delhi: Speed merchant Dale Steyn is in India to play for his new franchise Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League's ninth edition.

But the premier South African pacer is yet to play his first match of the season as he didn't find a place in the first three matches of Suresh Raina-led side.

However, the bowler has found a new way to keep himself 'motivated', and that is by playing ‘Gully’ cricket on the streets of Mumbai.

In fact, the 32-year-old also took a wicket in the match and even claimed it as his first wicket of the IPL.

Here is the Video.

Gujarat Lions are undefeated thus far and will play their next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 21.

It's difficult to say that Raina will change the winning combination, which means Steyn will have to wait for some more time to play his first match of the ninth season.
