New Delhi: Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers on Saturday treated cricket fans to some sensational hitting, as they crushed the Gujarat Lions bowling attack in Match 44.
After losing Chris Gayle early, the duo put on 229 runs for the second wicket to power the side to a record 248-run total.
While the South African was the aggressor in the first half of the innings, RCB skipper go in the on the act towards the end.
AB remained unbeaten on 129 off 52 balls, while Virat was dismissed for the penultimate ball of the innings for 109 off 55 balls.
The pair hit a combined 20 sixes and 15 fours during their stay at the crease.
Just like their understanding on the pitch, AB and Virat have developed a strong bond off it as well.
