New Delhi: Australian cricketer Aaron Finch on Tuesday announced his engagement to Amy Griffiths on a public platform.
The opener, who is currently playing for Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League's ninth edition, took to social media to share the news officially.
Soon after the Finch's Instagram post, Griffiths also posted a cute caption that read, “I came to India to watch some cricket but @aaronfinch5 had other things in mind… #putaringonit #musthavelikedit #engaged”.
Finch has been in superb form with the willow. He started the ongoing season on a high note by winning three man-of-the-match awards on the bounce.
Then, injury kept him out of the Twenty20 league for some time.
But the swashbuckling opener has made a comeback, and played a crucial knock for Lions' during their recent game against KKR.
