New Delhi: Though the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL) has just reached its half way mark, it will always be remembered as an injury prone season.

There are considerate number of players who have already been ruled out of remainder of the season.

MS Dhoni-led Rising Pune Supergiants suffered the most as four of their foreign players have been ruled out of the tournament.

11 foreign players in total have ruled out of IPL due to injury.

Here is the list of them all

Steven Smith (RPS) - Australian

Shaun Marsh (KXIP) - Australian

Mitchell Marsh (RPS) - Australian

Faf du Plessis (RSP) – South African

Kevin Pietersen (RSP) – England

Lasith Malinga (MI) – Sri Lanka

Lendl Simmons (MI) – West Indies

Mitchell Starc (RCB) – Australian

Samuel Badree (RCB) – West Indian

John Hastings (KKR) – Australia

Joel Paris (DD) – Australia

Few other players too got injured like Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson but have either joined back or will join their respective franchises soon.
