New Delhi: Team India's star batsman Suresh Raina on Tuesday stated that he was excited to play for his new Indian Premier League franchise Rajkot.
Raina was the Intex Group-owned team's first pick at the IPL Players' draft held in Mumbai.
The left-hander further added that he was looking forward to playing with his new teammates.
Raina took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share his sentiments.

The 29-year-old was welcomed by his new employers.

Raina was joined by Ravindra Jadeja, Brendon McCullum, James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo as the next four picks.
Raina has never played for any other team than CSK in the IPL.
At his new IPL home, Raina could be named captain.
