Punjab Cricket Association Stadium got its first Test in 1994 when West Indies toured India. The visitors won the match by 243 runs.

Javagal Srinath’s 45/6 against New Zealand in 1999 is the best bowling figures in an innings at PCA Stadium.

India have played 11 Tests at the venue and have won five of them. India’s only loss at Mohali came against West Indies while five matches ended being drawn.
