Chandigarh: Indian middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane, apart from being a classy batsman, is arguably India's best slip fielder. The Mumbaikar proved it yet again with a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss England's Joe Root on Day 4 of the third Test between India and England at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
As wickets tumbled from one end, Root was looking all set to slam another Test hundred. But batting on 78, he edged one off Ravindra Jadeja and Rahane grabbed the catch towards his left with one hand as the ball looked to go past him.
