New Delhi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party chief Imran Khan ended 10-month marriage with Reham Khan with a text message.

According to the Daily Mail, texted “talaq” three times to formally divorce the 42-year-old Reham.

“Although both sides insist they parted amicably in Pakistan, a source revealed that the end finally came when Imran texted his wife the word ‘talaq’ (the Arabic term for ‘I divorce you’) written three times. This was followed by a brief email,” the report said.

The former BCC weather girl received the message when she landed in Birmingham. Reham also got a “confirmation call from Imran’s chief of staff”.

She was then driven to London by senior members of Imran's party where the financial settlements were discussed.
