New Delhi: Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi on Sunday addressed his first press conference after his team's arrival in India.

The Pakistan team trained at the Eden Gardens in the morning amid tight security.

Speaking to reporters after the session, Afridi made some very interesting comments.

The all-rounder said that Pakistan team has always enjoyed playing in India and that fans here have showered them with more love than even those back home.

Afridi also touched upon India's performance in the Asia Cup, highlighting the solid show of Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh in beating his side.

The 36-year-old said despite the delay in arriving, the team was mentally prepared to travel to India for the mega tournament.

Pakistan will face Sri Lanka later in the day in their first warm-up match. The 2009 winners will kick start their campaign on March 16 in Kolkata.
