New Delhi: Pakistan cricket management is all set to ring in the changes after their team's woeful showing in the Asia Cup and ICC World Twenry20.

According to a report in Dunya News, the fact-finding committee on Friday opted for Sarfraz Ahmad to become the team's new T20 captain.

The report further claims that there is bound to be a delay in official announcement of the captaincy change.

Coach Waqar Younis' contract will not be renewed with Mohsin Hasan Khan and Aaqib Javed likely to be appointed as chief selector and coach respectively.

The Shakil Sheikh-led committee is expected to submit its report to PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan on Friday.

The report also includes names of players that were ineffective in taking decisions during the last two tournaments played by Pakistan.

Current T20I skipper Shahid Afridi did not appear before the investigating committee due to his daughter’s illness.
