New Delhi: India and Pakistan matches are considered the mother of all battles and the excitement has been a glitzy affair over the years. In ICC World Twenty20 matches the thrills have taken an all new level and interestingly, Pakistan have never won an ICC World Cup match against India.

India and Pakistan play on Saturday in the ongoing ICC World T20 2016 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in a Super 10, Group 2 game.

Ahead of Saturday's tie, India and Pakistan have been embroiled in four T20 World Cup matches and the former have registered victories in all the same.

Here is a look back at all these four matches.

India vs Pakistan 2007 (Group D Match)

The inaugural World T20 2007 could not have got a better start as these two sides squared off in Durban after having being placed at the same group. India batted first and scored 141 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan kept losing crucial wickets, before Sreesanth was able to defend one run in the last two balls of Pakistan’s innings.

The match ended in a tie and was decided by a bowl out. The ball was handed to Robin Uthappa, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag, who were able to hit the wickets. Meanwhile, none of the Pakistan bowlers were able to repeat the same. India won the match 3-0 in a bowl out situation.

India vs Pakistan 2007 (Finale)

The inaugural ICC World T20 edition ended in a magical affor as the two sides met eachother again ion the final at Johannesburg. India were batting first and with the courtesy of Gautam Gambhir’s 75 runs, India managed to score 157 runs.

In the chase, Pakistan batsmen started to lose wickets in a hurry and were reduced to 77 for 6. Misbah-ul-Haq didn't allow India to run away with the game and he built up some important partnerships with the lower order batsmen and took the game into the last over.

Haryana bowler Joginder Sharma bowled the final over as Pakistan required 13 runs. They scored six runs in first three balls, before Misbah tried a cheeky shot and gave an easy catch to SreeSanth who was standing at short fine leg to make India win the first ever World T20.

India vs Pakistan 2012 (Group 2 Match)

The giants of the game saw themselves embroiled in another T20 match in the mega event in Colombo this time. In this 2012 edition, India emerged victorious once again after Virat Kohli's unbeaten 61-ball 78 runs helped the side to register an eight-wicket win after their rivals managed 129 runs in 20 overs.

India vs Pakistan 2014 (Group 2 Match)

With the edition being held at Mirpur, Dhaka in Bangladesh, the fans were lucky to witness an Indo-Pak game. Pakistan scored 130 runs in their 20 overs and India chased the total with seven wickets to win. Kohli and Raina remained unbeaten in the end scoring vital scores of 36 and 35 respectively.
