India vs Australia: Virat Kohli has the last laugh after Mitchell Johnson's pre-match provocation

New Delhi: The fact that Virat Kohli loves being challenged before or during matches was proved beyond doubt on Sunday in Mohali.

The right-hander has often stated that he performs at a higher level when the crowd and opposition players put pressure on him.

Ahead of the Sunday clash against Australia, the 27-year-old made similar remarks while talking to reporters.

Interestingly, retired Mitchell Johnson could not hold back and took a pot shot at Kohli on social micro-blogging site Twitter.

Kohli and India's fans were desperately waiting to get back at Johnson after the Mohali match.

The Delhi batsman answered their prayers with a matching-winning innings under pressure.

Moreover, he opted to ignore Johnson's comments. But his fans were in no mood to let go, trolling Mitch like never before.

He then gave Kohli his due, stating that the Indian was too good on Sunday.

Johnson's Twitter activity experienced a massive surge after India's win.

Australians love having a crack at the opposition players. However in Kohli, they seem to have found their match.
