England vs South Africa: World T20, 18th Match, Super 10 Group 1 – Players to watch out for

New Delhi: Another blockbuster for the day. The Trans-Tasman rivalry, which was renewed in Dharamsala, is not enough to whet your cricketing appetite, then this one will surely do.

After their recent two-match Twenty20 International series in South Africa, which England lost 0-2, the Three Lions will look to salvage their pride and also put a brake on their losing streak. That have lost to Chris Gayle's West Indies in their first game.

For South Africa, it's about keeping the momentum alive. However, the match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai have enough spices to fire-up the tournament, as two heavyweights are ready to weigh in their respective arsenals in a showdown.

Here are five possible match-winners:

AB de Villiers: Enough has been written about AB de Villiers. He is rightly hailed as the South African 'superman'. If the 32-year-old just about manages to hang on for a little longer, say for about 15 overs, then he is likely to inflict England the same damages Gayle had done on Wednesday.

Dale Steyn: The world's premier fast bowler, like many of his great South African contemporaries, is yet to lift a major trophy. Dale Steyn will be fired up to perform in the cricket's grandest stage. The 32-year-old is more than capable of destroying any batting line-up in the world.

Chris Morris: After hogging all the limelight, from the Indian Premier League auction to the recent on-field performances, Chris Morris is finally ready to show his true caliber in front of global audience. If he gets firing, then the Proteas can assure themselves of a win in their first match.

Joe Root: The right-handed middle-order batsman has been in great touch. Against the Windies, he missed out on a deserving 50. But his 36-ball knock have had all the ingredients of a great innings. He will be more than eager to do better today. Being the mainstay of England batting line-up, the 25-year-old just can't afford complacency.

Chris Jordan: This English team has all the makings of a great T20 side, but despite all the promises, success has taken good times coming. One reason could be the lack of virtuoso all-rounders. There is Ben Stokes, but he alone can't bail the team out of trouble always. That's where Chris Jordan comes into the picture. The 27-year-old can bowl, and bat. He is ready for the big stage.
