New Delhi: Some of Gautam Gambhir's comments at the ‘Salaam Cricket’ event on Monday caused quite a stir on social media.
The left-hander made two interesting remarks during the discussion with regards to Team India.
While responding to question, the Delhi skipper said that Rohit Sharma was a more dangerous batsman than Virat Kohli and that as an opposition skipper he would fear the Mumbaikar more than India's limited-overs vice captain.
However, Gambhir also went on to say that Kohli and not skipper MS Dhoni was the 'finisher' in the current Indian side.
Both Sharma and Kohli have been in top form in 2016. The duo had a very successful Australian tour. However in Sri Lanka, Virat showed that he was more consistent than Rohit.
While Rohit can clear the fence with ease, Virat relies on scoring boundaries to accumulate his runs.
