New Delhi: Maddineni Durga Bhavani, former cricketer and member of the Andhra Cricket Association, was found died under suspicious circumstances on Sunday.
According to a report in The Hindu, the 28-year-old's body was found hanging from the ceiling at her residence at Yadavula Bazar in Machavaram area.
Her body was taken to the Government General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The Machavaram police have now registered and investigation is underway.
During her career, Bhavani played for Andhra Cricket Association's senior women's team.
Few years back, she had filed a sexual harassment case against a cricketer.
