Pakistan have dominated the post-lunch session too by adding 49 runs and losing just one wicket. Moeen Ali got rid of Wahab Riaz for 4 runs as Younis Khan continues to look superb with his batting. He is just 8 shot of his double century with Pakistan taking a lead of 138 runs in the first innings.

It's LUNCH. It has been the visitor's day so far with Younis Khan looking impressive on 147.

Pakistan have got a lead of 89 runs which might be bothering the hosts and they will be looking to curtail it to the minimum in the second session.

Pakistan lead the first innings by 40 runs with 4 wickets in hand. Resuming the play at 340 for 6, the visitors are steadily moving ahead with both the overnight batsmen at the crease. England bowlers have been able to contain them but haven't taken any wickets allowing Pakistan to add 28 runs in the first 9 overs.


Day 2 Recap:

After winning the toss, England captain Alastair Cook opted to bat first and the hosts finished Day 1 with 328 runs.

Day 2 saw Asad Shafiq and Younis Khan deliver tons to put Pakistan into the driving seat and lifted them to 340/6 at Stumps.

The duo shared a fourth wicket partnership of 150 runs with Shafiq scoring 109 and Khan (101*) .

In the process, Younis Khan equalled former Austrain skipper Steve Waugh's tally of 32 Test hundreds.

In return, the England bowlers could not do much and toiled in the what seemed like the perfect batting conditions.

Pakistan lead by 12 runs with Younis Khan and Sarfraz Ahmed (17) at the crease for the visitors.
