New Delhi: Speedster Ishant Sharma who failed to make it to the Indian squad for the upcoming World Cup will be representing Delhi in the Inter-State One Dayers (North Zone) which will be held in Punjab from February 10.
Ishant will now spearhead the pace attack which also consists of Pradeep Sangwan, Sumit Narwal among the notable names.
Leggie Chetanya Nanda who was dropped from the Ranji Trophy squad after poor show against Bengal has been recalled due to his success in the shorter format. Mithun Manhas will lead the team which has rookie 19-year-old off-spinner Milind Kumar who has only played two T20s for Delhi last year.
Left-arm spinner Puneet Mehra who played three one dayers last year along with Joginder Singh have been recalled.
