Dilshan confident of regaining form vs. Australia

Colombo: Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan is confident of returning to form in the upcoming home series against Australia after a poor run in England.

Dilshan scored only 23 runs in five one-day internationals against England. But the 34-year-old said Tuesday he has prepared well by scoring runs in the domestic Twenty20 matches and believes he will carry that form into the upcoming series.

"I was back among the runs during the inter-provincial Twenty20 series," he said. "This series starts with two Twenty20 matches, so I have a lot of confidence that I can get back to form."

"We can`t take it easy, we must play well to beat a team like (Australia)."

Australian Twenty20 captain Cameron White is satisfied with his team`s preparation despite playing no warmup matches.

The series against Australia begins with the first of two Twenty20 matches on Saturday, followed by five ODIs and three tests.
