New Delhi: Putting all speculations to rest, hard-hitting West Indian batsman Chris Gayle on Tuesday agreed to be part of Pakistan Super League (PSL) as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) head Najam Sethi confirmed the news.
Sethi broke the news via micro-bloggling site Twitter. He also confirmed that Darren Sami will also be part of the inaugural season of the T20 league, which is going to start from February 2016.

Pakistan opener Ahmad Shahzad also seems excited after the announcement as he considered it as a big news.

If reports are to be believed then Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine are other West Indians who gave their consent to play in the franchise-based T20 tournament in Doha.
It is also reliably learnt that the event organisers are seeking at least 25 overseas players for the tournament.
