New Delhi: With important assignments lined up in the next couple of months, star batsman Virat Kohli on Friday visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar.

India's ODI and T20I vice captain was accompanied by his mother, sister and nephew.
“Bohot acha laga mujhe, meri bohot icchha thi, bohot samay se aane ki aur bohot shanti mili yahan pe ake, bohot acha laga yahan pe,” Kohli said.
Kohli also visited the Wagah border.
The right-hander was rested for the three-match series against Sri Lanka. Ever since the turn of the new year, Kohli has been in exceptional form.
MS Dhoni will rely upon the Delhi lad to score bulk of the runs in the Asia Cup starting February 24.
