New Delhi: After a brilliant all-round show in U-16 trials, Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has been included in Mumbai's U-16 squad.
Playing in Mumbai Cricket Association's Under-16 Payyade Trophy, Arjun slammed a ton for Sunil Gavaskar XI and followed it with a four-wicket haul.
The left-arm bowler took four for 73 on the second day of the match.
Earlier, Arjun scored 106 runs against the Rohit Sharma XI.
The 16-year-old chose the perfect venue for his ton as it came at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana Grounds – a venue named after his father.
Unlike Tendulkar, Arjun bats left-handed and is a left-arm seam bowler.
Earlier this year, Arjun was seen bowling at English batsmen at the nets.
The youngster had also smashed 118 from just 42 balls in September last year.
