Vidya Balan in a Rajinikanth film?

New Delhi: Megastar Rajinikanth might be soon seen in a film directed by 'Kabali' helmed PA Ranjith. And the latest buzz around the project is that talented actress Vidya Balan is reportedly playing the female lead in the film.

According to Times of India, while the cast of the yet-to-be titled venture is still under wraps, there is a strong word that Vidya might be roped in to play the lead. The report quotes a source as saying, "The makers of the film met Vidya Balan recently, and have finalised her as the lead. However, they are still working on the dates, and only then the official agreement would be signed."

Not much is known about the project. Can it be the sequel to 'Kabali', well only time will tell!
