Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu to have grand premiere in USA?

On Thursday, the film's US distributor Great India Films via a tweet announced that the project will have a whopping 2000 premiere shows on 19 April, making it the biggest release ever for a Telugu film in the US.

New Delhi: Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu is one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the year and is slated to hit the screens on April 20. The film reunite the hit combo of Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva, who appeared last in blockbuster 'Srimanthudu'. 

'Bharat Ane Nenu' marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, while Tamil actor Sarath Kumar has been roped in to play the role of Mahesh Babu's father in the film.

Ever since the first trailer of the film was released, it has garnered enough buzz among the masses. As per the latest report, the makers are all set to have a grand premiere of the film in the US a day prior to its release. 

On Thursday, the film's US distributor Great India Films via a tweet announced that the project will have a whopping 2000 premiere shows on 19 April, making it the biggest release ever for a Telugu film in the US.

"#BharathAneNenu schedules/listing will be published before Monday (04/09), and few locations have already opened bookings. We are trying to make all the chains tickets enabled before April 10th, due to too many Hollywood movies few locations it might drag bit here and there, please bear with us," it said in a series of tweets. 

The film, touted to be a political drama, will have Mahesh in the role of a Chief Minister. However, the 'Chief Minister' sequence will last for only half-an-hour and will be the major highlight of the film. 

An audio clip from the film which was unveiled on January 25 established the fact that Bharat takes oath as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. Mahesh who looks dapper as always plays Bharat Ram and explains his vision for the country in the political drama.

The film also stars Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Shankar, Posani Krishna Murali, Aamani, Jeeva, Benarjee, Brahmaji, Ajay Kumar, Sithara, Rajitha, Prithviraj, Devraj and Yashpal Sharma. The film has cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and S Thirunavukkarasu.
