Delhi-Meerut RRTS: Meet India's fastest metro train
The Delhi-Meerut RRTS (Rapid Rail Transit System) is a high-speed urban rail network that will connect Delhi and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh passing through Ghaziabad, Modinagar and Muzzafarnagar. The Alstom-made modern trainsets are able to achieve a top speed of 180 kmph, and the India's first rapid regional rail has already conducted a high-speed run, passing through an under construction RRTS train station at 160 kmph speed.
