In pics: Stray dogs with bright blue fur spotted in Russia, netizens raise concern

In what is an unusual sight, the pictures of stray dogs with bright blue fur have gone viral on social media platforms. The dogs were reportedly spotted in Russia near an abandoned chemical plant in the Dzerzhinsk city. 

After the pictures went viral on the Internet, several netizens raised their concerns over dogs' health.

While one user said, "OMG. I hope they will be okay and that it won't affect their health,", another expressed, "Somebody is having some fun. No way an animal ingests this much chemical turns blue and stays healthy."

According to Reuters, the blue fur dogs have now been taken to a veterinary hospital for examination in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
