Arpinder Singh clinched India's first men's triple jump gold in 48 years with a jump of 16.77m in the Asian Games on Wednesday. Arpinder, who has been without a medal in multi-sporting events since winning a bronze in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, produced a best jump of 16.77m which he came up with in his third attempt. He has a personal best of 17.17m and had finished fifth in the 2014 Asian Games.
