Former Indian and CSK captain MS Dhoni has earned a massive amount since the league started in 2008. Not to forget, he is playing the league right from the start and was always a marquee player for his franchise CSK. He switched to Rising Pune Supergiant in the two years when CSK were banned but that did not have any effect on his paycheque.

Virat Kohli

Kohli joined RCB in 2008 after his heroics in U19 World which India won under his leadership the same year. He had joined the team at a sum of Rs 12 lakh. The amount got bigger after 2019 when he was near 8.2 crore. The salary at RCB kept on increasing and currently he draws Rs 15 crore from RCB for his services.
