Mithali Raj became the first Indian cricketer to score 2,000 runs in T20 International Cricket. 

Mithali Raj broke Karen Rolton’s record of the world’s highest individual Test score of 209 and made a new score of 214. Later the record was broken by Pakistan's Kiran Baluch in 2004. 

Mithali Raj tops the chart for scoring the most fifty-plus runs in women's international cricket. She has scored fifty or more 62 times. Next on the list is England's Charlotte Edwards who has 55 fifty-plus scores to her name. 

From 2004 to 2016, Mithali Raj appeared in six ICC Women's ODI World Cups. She is the only women cricketer to achieve this feat. 

The Indian women’s team captain has led the national side twice to the ICC ODI World Cup final – in 2005 and 2017.
