Today, November 20, marked the commencement of the Qatar World Cup with a colourful opening ceremony. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, greeted the audience in both English and Arabic.

The name, La'eeb, means super-skilled player in Arabic, and according to FIFA, he encourages everyone to believe in themselves, because “Now is All” and in so doing he will bring the joy of football to everyone.
