India all-rounder Stuart Binny, who has best bowling figures in ODI format, on Monday announced his retirement from first class and international cricket. The 37-year-old Binny began his career with his state Karnataka and represented India in six Tests, 14 ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals.
"I would like to inform you that I have decided to retire from first class and international cricket," Binny, whose father Roger also represented India, said in a statement. "It has given me tremendous joy and pride to have represented my country at the highest international level."

Stuart Binny in a T20I encounter against West Indies in 2016 ended up giving away 32 runs in an over, after which the cricketer faced heavy criticism. Such was the intense that his wife Mayanti had to intervene and released a video on Instagram extending her support to her husband.
“Dear Trollers,” Mayanti began, “I hope no one ever demands the death of your loved ones or sends you violent images threatening the same. Taunting me with suicide is shameful… I hope you find love and loyalty.
