Team India posted a remarkable 2-1 series win over Australia to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy away from home. Injury-marred Indian side which was also missing regular skipper Virat Kohli managed to come back and win the series after slumping to 36 all out in the opening Test in Adelaide.
