In Pics: India stone-wall Australia on Day 5 at SCG
We take a look at some of the events that defined this final day through these pics...
Chasing 407 to win in the fourth innings of the third Test against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Monday, Team India managed to bat out 131 overs to ensure a battling draw. The draw means that the four-match Test series is level at 1-1 heading into the fourth Test in Brisbane starting on Friday (January 15).
After Rishabh Pant's swashbuckling 97 and Cheteshwar Pujara's brilliant 77, Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari managed to keep Australian bowlers at bay for over 42 overs to dash any hopes of a win for Tim Paine's side.
