Education Minister Kanwar Pal on Tuesday said schools for classes 10 to 12 will reopen in the state from February 1. "Universities, colleges, schools (for classes 10 to 12), polytechnics, Industrial Training Institutes, coaching institutions, libraries, training institutes, both government and private, are allowed to open from February 1 for physical classes," the order stated.

The schools and other educational institutes in Tripura re-opened on Monday after the state government lifted the suspension of physical classes with strict maintenance of COVID-19 protocols. As per the fresh directives from the Tripura Education Department, classes have been resumed with full strength across the state and record attendance was registered on the beginning day after a gap of 20 days.
