Surat bus catches fire, all passengers deboarded safely - In Pics

A bus in Gujarat's Surat city caught fire on Ghordaur Road on Friday afternoon, no casualty was reported. The city has been witnessing heavy rains and the incident of fire amid rains caught the eye of many passersby. See pics

Around 20 passengers who were traveling in the bus were deboarded on time due to the presence of mind shown by the driver.

The bus driver noticed heavy smoke and immediately alerted everyone, the bus caught fire after all the passengers had alighted.

The fire is suspected to have been caused due a short circuit in the bus.

The blaze was eventually brought under control.
