Classes are being held in UP in two shifts of three hours -- from 8 am to 11.00 am and from 11.30 am to 3:30 pm -- with 50 per cent students of a class in each shift.
The schools were closed in the state since March 20 last year when the government imposed a lockdown to stem the transmission of COVID-19.
