Chennai residents have heaved a sigh of relief as the downpour stopped on Friday morning. But the state can expect some more rainfall.

There seems to be some relief as the heavy downpour have come to a stop in Chennai today (November 12). But the state can expect more rain in the next 24 hours, says the India Meteorological Department (IMD), even as a flood alert has been issued for Madurai.
